SPIN Magazine reports here that a group of well-known musicians have gotten together along with Girl with a Guitar, a group of young female guitarists from Kabul, Afghanistan, to record a cover of Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)”. The goal is to bring recognition to Miraculous Love Kids, an organization that raises awareness, resources and funds for some of the most vulnerable children in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Some of the musicians involved include Kathy Valentine, Tom Morello and Vicki Peterson are just a some of the names involved. More information at SPIN.com.
