Music On Vinyl is preparing a reissue of Dave Stewart’s landmark 1989 soundtrack to the film “Lily Was Here”, which includes his worldwide smash hit with Candy Dulfer of the same name.

‘Lily Was Here’ is Dave Stewart’s soundtrack to the Dutch drama film of the same name. Released in 1989, it’s a truly atmospheric art rock effort. The title track is an instrumental duet, pairing Stewart’s guitar with Candy Dulfer’s soothing saxophone, making it one of the most popular and enduring instrumental hits of all-time.
The OST also includes ‘Second Chance’ with Virginia Astley on vocals and a newly recorded version of the Eurythmics’ 1984 song ‘Here Comes the Rain Again’, featuring former bandmate Annie Lennox.
The album is to be reissued on limited edition red vinyl on May 8, 2026 and will be available for pre-order soon. U.S. fans can pre-order here.
