Allison Russell has released the first taste of her next full-length project with “Superlover,” a plea for peace. Joining her in a duet is Annie Lennox, and it’s a rare one, marking her first vocal appearance on a recorded song since her 2018 movie theme “Requiem for a Private War”; Lennox’s last full album was 11 years ago.
